Blu-ray 3D sample disc encoded and authored with DoStudio. VLC since 2.1.0 has built-in support for viewing 3D side-by-side (SBS) videos using anaglyph technology. Shutter Glasses - technique used by the new 3D televisions, where each alternating frame represent the left or right views. Polarisation - technique used in cinemas, with two images projected with different polarisations, a silvered screen and polarised glassesĪlso TV sets are capable of producing polarized light they use interlaced displays for the left and right pictures, the even lines and the odd lines differently polarized (which effectively halves the vertical resolution in 3D mode). Anaglyph - red/green or red/blue images with glasses filtering out one colour or the other. Otherwise just buy some anaglyph specs.ha ha.Generally there are three widely use 3D display technologies, all based on the principles of stereoscopic projection: You will end with either a grayscale or muted coloured 3D interlaced clip that you can probably watch with the ColorCode output in Stereoscopic Player. I haven't tested this with ColorCode so dont know if it will work. Anaglyph has the 3D embedded in the actually video and so cannot be converted in Stereoscopic Player.having said that, you can convert the anaglyph to a grayscale interlaced video and then open it to view as an will though be B&W, but you may be able to use your ColorCode glasses to at least see the 3D.ġ)open the anaglyph ay or colourĢ)Save as "interlaced" or as a "left" and "right" sideģ)Open in Stereoscopic Player and output as Colorcode It will take a left and right image, whether side by side or under/over or interlaced and then it can convert to ColorCode or Anaglyph etc etc but it cannot convert from one anaglyph to another. Stereoscopic Player does not convert form one anaglyph format into another. are you saying this is not possible? I cannot see how it can't be possible!!! I was just thinking about what you said with not being able to de-anaglyph and that's actually not what I was trying to do, I thought if you play a red/blue anaglyph in sterescopic player then you could just choose colorcode format and the player would replace the red/blue with amber/blue. Strange thing is it doesn't play on stereoscopic movie player the one from 3dtv site. So I downloaded a 1 minute sample clip from a dvdrip that I found on a torrent site. I plan to buy the 3d version of Coraline on DVD and I wanted to see what the 3d effect is like with colorcode glasses before I buy.

I really like that, I find 1080p films to have the best 3d effect. Just tried colorcode 3d and it's pretty amazing on youtube, when some films are done just right you don't get any double images, things fly out of the screen and there's a lot of depth.
